Sometimes I just don’t know when to quit. I have been really swept up in this whole podcast, RSS and blog world for the last year and I just can’t contain my enthusiasm sometimes. I have been pushing the IT team at work to get RSS feeds set-up as an alternate delivery model for information to the field for about 3 months. They seem too wrapped up in trying to fight spam and viruses to care…to even notice that RSS could be the answer to their problems and greatly improve our field teams’ productivity. I even went as far as to make up a little storyboard about how RSS is just like email that gets put into the right folders when it arrives on your desktop so the reader can have a sense of context. For you few readers out there, let me know if you’ve faced similar situations. How do you get a slow moving IT organization to see the light?
