Getting closer to moving from MythTV to MCE

I have been running a Linux MythTV box for almost 3 years, but in the past few months, I have been thinking more and more about converting to Windows MCE.  The first straw was the problems I continue to have with the HDTV Tuner (the HD3000).  The second straw has been the incredible heat the machine I have puts off.  MCE would let me move it to the basement and use an extender…like the XBOX 360 I just bought (the thirs straw).  The last straw may be this…looks like it would let me schedule recording remotely, which I lost the ability to do when I recently moved my domain off of my home server to godaddy this past week.
