First service on the TDI today

So I crossed the 5,000 mile mark today so I stopped by Champion VW in Florence to get my initial service today.  To be honest, I was going to stop by Friday since I had more time, but I called them first thing and got a VM.  Even though I left a message, I never got a call back.  So I called this morning and got a person who I told I would be there between 4 and 4:30.  It took a little more than an hour, but they did fix the one problem with the rear door panel (a bolt had shaken loose and it was shaking).
$64 later and I have 7 quarts of synthetic oil and a new filter.  Probably about $15 more than I would have paid at the quick stop….and 40 minutes longer.  But I will give them a few more shots.  Afterall once I get to the 10K mile service I only have to go every 10K after that.
