Thanks for posting on this piece. As the author of the e-book, I can “truthfully” say that the sales folk don’t believe these are “lies”…rather “ways of framing the truth that close the sale”.
It’s a tough gig being in enterprise sales…not for the timid. But sales skill and looks usually override “the best solution”.
How often does “the best software” beat “the best marketed software”?
