Trying out a bunch of new tech

So it’s not like I don’t have anything better to do but today I signed up for both Facebook and Twitter.  Not sure what I’m going to do with either yet, but another one in the long list of experiments.  So far, I really like the simplicity and mobility of Twitter, but it is obviously something that you need to spend some time building a network to get any value out of.  On the Facebook side, I have been impressed with how easy they make it for you to tap into existing networks (work and school) so you can get to that point of crtiical mass quickly.  I’ve been on for 1 hour and already have 3 friends and 3 networks.
