IBM get’s it – on two levels

I have been reading Irving’s blog for a while. He always has some of the most extensive, well though out posts of any of the subscriptions I have in my “deep thoughts” folder. What struck me about this post is that it’s aling the same lines as something I have been playing around with in the last two weeks. There’s alot happening in these virtual worlds and I think the opportunities to use them drive innovation into products is there. The question is: what jobs are better done in a virtual world than a real one? Program reviews, concept testing, and ergonomics all come to mind.
