Becoming more "social"

I’ve added direct links to a few social news sites from my main page and each post.  Thanks to DavidBreyer.com for the code.  Wasn’t too hard, although I did drop the link to slashdot for formatting reasons.  I think the basic idea of these links is to get better page rank by making it easier for people to link to your site.  I’ve started monitoring my rank, so we’ll see how it works.
