It was a little over a week ago today that my daughter went to her first day of first grade. She seems to be adjusting OK, but it is still very scary. The thing thats odd for me, is that the first real clear memories I have of long periods of time are in first grade. Now I have to be really careful…she’s going to remember all this stuff for the rest of her life 😉
She seems to like her school, but is still having a little seperation anxiety. Hopefully it will get better over the next few weeks as going and coming from school becomes more routine.
